This is the diary I made of our two weeks in Japan back this time ten years ago. I was reviewing a bunch of PDAs for Amiga Format, the magazine of which I was editor, and I had taken the Palm IIIx with me to go to Japan. I also had a Canon iXus APS camera photos from which I will scan to add to these pages. Because of the usual habit with blogging in presenting the most recent post first I am making this sticky post page to "force" you to join us on our journey by clicking on the link below, and then onwards through the newer post link at the bottom of each page. And because of my lack of 1337 skillz I've had to put the datestamps back on the posts manually as they are on my Palm. The dates read in Japanese order - year, month, date - a technique I've used for dating directories ever since because of the ease of sorting.
